(1) Project Overview
The Hong Kong Infection Control Center at North Lantau Hospital is located on the west side of the Hong Kong AsiaWorld-Expo. With a floor area of approximately 44,000 square meters, it can provide 136 wards and 816 negative pressure isolation beds. The project was constructed in accordance with Hong Kong's permanent building standards, making it the world's first infectious disease hospital with negative pressure isolation wards. The project employs BIM+DfMA+MIC technology, utilizing the consulting model to complete forward-looking detailed design and CSD coordination; The DfMA module underwent preliminary planning and multi-scheme comparison optimization, marking the first application of multi-type DfMA assembly modules at the product level, effectively enhancing factory prefabrication assembly rates and reducing installation and commissioning timelines; Additionally, BIM+AR technology was integrated into the Hong Kong Housing Authority's engineering quality inspection process, effectively ensuring project construction quality.
